Tilta Full Camera Cage

Utilise the full potential of your FX3/FX30 with the improved full camera housing for the Sony FX3/FX30. It provides protection for the camera body and includes relevant accessories to extend the functionality of the Sony FX3/FX30 in a video production environment.

This full housing offers numerous options for mounting various accessories, such as 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with different mounting points, two cold shoe connections, a NATO rail for top handles and mounting points for a single rod holder.

This advanced design is highly modular and allows different sides of the housing to be removed or added to accommodate different mounting scenarios. This is particularly useful in situations where weight is a topic, such as when using a gimbal or accessories like the XLR top handle, with which this housing is fully compatible.

Regarding gimbals, the base plate is equipped with an ARCA quick release plate, which allows for a quick change between tripod and DJI gimbals. Please note that this housing uses the DJI standard for ARCA. Compatibility with other standards is not guaranteed.

The improved cable clamp can be easily integrated into the entire housing and provides additional support for cables that can be easily secured with the screw.

The housing has three individual fixing screws that significantly improve the connection between the camera body and the housing. This ensures that accessories mounted over the housing, such as wireless follow focus motors, restrict the rotation of the front of the camera within the housing itself.

Important: This housing is only compatible with the Tilta Modular 15mm LWS base plate type III and not with the base plate type IV.
