It's easy to see why the Black Pro-Mists have been so successful over the past 30 years. The unique layering of contrast combined with a thin color that acts like a halo is a variation of the Pro Halation Spill effect. Even at the lowest density, it provides effective and enhanced halo formation that adds a pleasant depth and warmth without affecting skin tone values. These characteristics become more pronounced when using densities of 1/4 and higher. At higher densities, the spill from practical light is quite aggressive, and the warm tone becomes more evident.
