TI RF430FRL152H NFC Transponder Eval Kit
Product details
HF Technology: NFC (Near Field Communication)
Kit Classification: Evaluation Kit
Featured Device: RF430FRL
NFC ISO 15693 sensor transponder evaluation module. The evaluation module RF430FRL152HEVM is a standalone development platform that can be used to evaluate the features and performance of the ISO 15693 compliant sensor transponder RF430FRL15xH NFC (Near Field Communication). The evaluation board can be powered by a 1.5V battery, USB connection, or by harvesting RF energy from a nearby NFC-enabled reader or smartphone. The integrated application code in the ROM manages RF communication and sensor reading, providing ultimate flexibility in device configuration. Developers can configure sampling rates, measurement thresholds, and alarms. The 2 KB non-volatile universal memory (FRAM) allows for data storage as well as the extension and customization of the application code. The evaluation module is compatible with a range of BoosterPacks for further expansion. Wireless communication via ISO/IEC 15693, ISO/IEC 18000-3 compliant NFC/RFID interface. Power supply via RF field, USB, or SR66 1.5V battery. Integrated ultra-low power 16-bit CPI MSP430™. Integrated thermistor and light sensor with connection to the 14-bit ADC (Analog-to-Digital Converter) and the ability to connect additional analog sensors. I²C/SPI interface configurable as master or slave to support digital sensors or connect the board to a host system. Two 10-pin headers serve as standard interfaces to BoosterPacks and Launchpads. Chip antenna or optional connection for external antenna.
