The Kingdom of Myrtana has been invaded by an insatiable horde of orcs. King Rhobar II needs large amounts of magical ore to forge powerful weapons, and for this reason, he is using all available prisoners in the Khorinis mines. To prevent these prisoners from escaping, the monarch commissions his best mages to summon a magical barrier. But something goes wrong. The magic spirals out of control, and a mutiny turns the mine valley into a lawless area ruled by the most brutal inmates. The king must now negotiate with the new owners while tensions between the various factions in the mine valley rise.
