The detectable Ty-Rap steel-tipped cable ties are identifiable by metal detectors and X-ray machines. Additionally, the blue color facilitates visual identification. Therefore, this series is suitable for applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

The corrosion-resistant, non-magnetic steel tip made of stainless steel type 316 in the cable tie head ensures the strongest and safest hold available on the market. The powerful and reliable Ty-Rap can be used under the most adverse conditions such as vibrations, heat, or cold.

The rounded edges and contours of the head and the tie provide user-friendly handling and prevent damage to the insulation of cables and wires from sharp edges or serrations. Moreover, the smooth body without serrated teeth or grooves reduces the number of overstressed areas.

The slight texturing on the inside of the strap ensures a secure fit of the tie on the cable bundle. For higher cleaning intervals and when the tie should not absorb moisture, we recommend using our detectable polypropylene version. A wide range of accessories complements the product line.
