Four twin wheels allow for three different modes of transport.

Ideal for travel, weddings, and other outdoor events, the Airport Roller Derby™ enables photographers to swiftly and skillfully transport their equipment through crowds. The four twin wheels allow the suitcase to be guided alongside the body, resulting in significantly less strain on the arms and enabling effortless movement of the equipment. On unsuitable terrain, the Airport Derby™ can also be tilted and maneuvered like a regular trolley on two pairs of wheels. In tight spaces, such as airplane aisles, it is best used over the wheels on the narrow side.

Since professional camera systems are not exactly lightweight, the designers at thinkTANK photo set out to develop a new trolley and created a unique category of wheeled camera bags with the Airport Roller Derby™. This allows for a balanced weight distribution that can be moved comfortably in various ways. With dimensions suitable for international carry-on luggage, the trolley has an interior volume similar to that of the Airport International V3.0. The large three-part front pocket features dedicated compartments for a laptop up to 15", a tablet, and documents. The zipper of the main compartment can be secured with the included combination lock, and the entire trolley can be secured with a steel cable. An included tripod mount can be attached to the outside of the Derby™.

All in all, it’s a smart way to avoid carrying extensive equipment.
