Description: The VR-1 accurately reproduces the typical single coil sound of the 1950s. This is achieved through 42 AWG copper wire, Formvar insulation, and staggered Alnico 5 pole piece magnets. The coil is wrapped in vintage cloth tape. Middle pickups are reverse wound/reverse polarity, which prevents hum in switch positions 2 and 4. Bridge pickups are specifically tuned for this position, resulting in a very balanced sounding set. Medium-high output. Specifications: 6.8 KOhm, 7.9 KHz E1 - E6: 52.0 mm Pole - pole: 10.4 mm.
