The M81-SH was designed not just as a complement to the M80-SH, but rather as an independent microphone that outstandingly combines the capabilities of dynamic microphones.

Like the M80, the M81-SH impresses with low proximity effect, high feedback resistance, and a clear midrange. However, compared to the M80, the high frequencies are slightly reduced, resulting in an overall flatter frequency response. The result is a microphone with body, substance, and clarity, which is well-suited for taming sharper voices or guitars, or for providing a fuller sound to toms, percussion, horns, or thin-sounding sources.

The M81-SH comes with a chrome microphone grille. It includes a leather case and a 5m XLR cable with a right-angle connector.
