The included universal headshell of the SL-100C is equipped with a perfectly adjusted Audio-Technica AT-VM95C cartridge system, making it ready for use in no time. The tonearm height can be adjusted within a range of six millimeters to accommodate a variety of cartridges.
Once the tonearm reaches the inner end of the record, the auto-lift raises the tonearm. This prevents unnecessary wear on both your valuable records and the cartridge, enhancing user convenience. By embedding the auto-lifter function in the tonearm base, shocks to the tonearm are avoided. This function can be turned off if needed.
The SL-100C features a minimalist design while still offering the full range of controls that all Technics products are known for. Its attractive, puristic exterior also visually enhances the high enjoyment of music.
