The included universal headshell of the SL-100C is equipped with a perfectly adjusted Audio-Technica AT-VM95C cartridge system, making it ready for use in no time. The tonearm height can be adjusted within a range of six millimeters to accommodate a variety of cartridges.
Once the tonearm reaches the inner end of the record, the auto-lift raises the tonearm. This prevents unnecessary wear on both your valuable records and the cartridge, enhancing user comfort. By embedding the auto-lifter function into the tonearm base, shocks to the tonearm are avoided. This function can be turned off if needed.
The SL-100C features a minimalist design. At the same time, it offers the full range of operating options that characterize all Technics products. The attractive, puristic exterior also enhances the high enjoyment of music visually.
