When the vehicle is parked and the driver has exited and locked it, the included remote control activates the car alarm TX-100. If an unauthorized person attempts to enter the vehicle, a loud alarm signal of 110 dB will sound upon entry into the vehicle's interior, deterring the intruder. If the car alarm is removed by the intruder, the alarm signal will continue to sound thanks to the built-in battery, which allows for a standby time of up to 6 days. The alarm will sound for a maximum of 2 minutes and can only be deactivated using the included remote control. While the alarm is armed, the cigarette lighter essentially serves only as an alarm holder, without drawing power from the car battery. When the vehicle is started, the integrated battery of the car alarm recharges through the cigarette lighter while driving (3-4 hours charging time).
