Product details
The PD-507T is a CD transport that utilizes the renowned CD transport mechanism from TEAC. It is designed for flawless digital output without a DAC, allowing for high-quality CD playback through various audio systems with digital inputs, including the USB DAC models of the Reference 500 series. The core CD transport mechanism is the TEAC CD-5020A, which has long been proven in broadcasting applications. By combining this robust and highly reliable mechanism with a semi-floating mounting structure and a specially designed drive circuit, the PD-507T achieves even higher sound quality. The new PD-507T features a function that allows you to turn off unused digital outputs. Separate power supplies have been implemented for each clock generator and digital output. Additionally, the electrical circuits and mechanical construction have been optimized to achieve even higher sound quality than previous models. The PD-507T also offers a connection to the master clock generator CG-10M-X to enhance sound quality with an external 10 MHz clock generator. The UD-507 features a new amber full-dot OLED display and control connections that improve the system's user-friendliness.
