RMW SCD is a medium wall thickness heat shrinkable tubing designed for use in various low voltage applications. It is particularly suitable for insulation and protection of cable connections in low voltage electrical installations and for cable repair. RMW conduit is ideal where maximum reliability, product performance, and ease of installation are required. Key features include resistance to mechanical abuse, shock and abrasion resistance, chemical and moisture resistance, a completely moisture resistant seal, specially formulated adhesive coating to seal most common insulation materials, and easy, quick installation with a torch or heat gun. It has a high shrink rate and is UV resistant. Application range includes power distribution, buses and trucks, heavy equipment, locomotives and rail vehicles, shipyards, and underground wells.
