Tascam Dp-006

With the DP-006, you are ready wherever creativity strikes you. Featuring a built-in stereo condenser microphone on the front, this compact, battery-operated multi-track recorder is optimally designed for on-location recordings. Capture vocals or acoustic instruments anytime—without additional equipment and setup time. Use the tripod adapter for optimal positioning and placement. Thanks to its analog controls via knobs, chromatic tuning function, metronome, and ultra-lightweight design, this pocket studio is one of the easiest-to-use composer tools on the market.

The DP-006 has two 1/4" inputs for connecting external microphones, an electro-acoustic guitar, or a line-level source. An optional adapter cable allows you to connect a tablet computer as well. Recordings are saved directly to standard SD/SDHC cards (a 2GB card is included). You can easily share your song ideas with other devices via the USB 2.0 interface or a card reader. Basic editing functions are also available.

To enable longer operating times, the USB port of the DP-006 can be directly connected to a battery pack.
