The Drops from Tandem Drums are dampening pads made from recycled felt. This allows you to adjust and optimize the sound of your drums without the use of gels or adhesives. The Drops can be used with both toms and snares. They attach via a silicone strap to common standard tuning lugs, making it easy to quickly remove or replace them without leaving any residue on the drumhead.

The DR-X4-FMIX-GRY is a set of four pads with weights of 40g, 60g, 120g, and 200g. By using multiple Drops or combining different weights, you can customize the sound while playing. Lighter weights provide a rich, full tone, while heavier weights allow for a tighter, drier sound.

Thanks to the silicone strap attachment, the Drop does not stick to the drumhead but instead vibrates with it, providing dampening. This controls the overtones while maintaining the natural sound of the drum. Special attention has been given to sustainability in the manufacturing process. The outer material is made from recycled felt, and the filling is made from recycled steel.

Note: The Drops cannot be used with Sonor brand models, as the shape of the older vintage tuning lugs is not compatible.
