Insgesamt liefert das Tamron ein sehr gutes Bild, leider trüben jedoch Schwächen bei 2,8/135 mm den Gesamteindruck. Von der offenen Blende bei 135 mm abgesehen werden Bilder sehr knackig und scharf aufgenommen, wirken am Ende jedoch etwas hart. Auf einen Ultraschall-Motor muss verzichten, sodass die Lautstärke etwas lauter ist als bei der Konkurrenz mit diesem Motor...
Das Telezoom überzeugt bei den Leistungen auf ganzer Linie und gibt sich auch bei der Lichtstärke keine Blöße. Zudem arbeitet der schnelle Autofokus sehr zuverlässig und punktgenau. Dass hier ein Bildstabilisator fehlt ist kein Problem, da die Sony Kameras diese bereits eingebaut haben.
