Even when fully extended, the length of the lens is only 284.9mm, making it comfortable to use. The lens features many interesting functions that make photography easier in action-packed environments. It includes Tamron's popular VC mode, which facilitates handheld shooting for extended periods and allows you to switch between three settings (Mode 1: Standard, Mode 2: Panning Only, and Mode 3: Image Crop Priority). This feature provides excellent image stabilization performance and effectively reduces image blur caused by camera shake. The lens has a minimum object distance (MOD) of 0.6m at 150mm wide angle and 1.8m at 500mm telephoto.
