Although it achieves the equivalent focal length of a 750mm ultra-telephoto lens, the 150-500mm F/5-6.7 remains quite compact with a length of just 209.9mm and a maximum diameter of 93mm. Even when fully extended, the length of the lens is only 284.9mm, making it comfortable to use. The lens features many interesting functions that make photography easier in action-packed environments. It includes Tamron's popular VC mode, which facilitates handheld shooting for extended periods and allows you to switch between three settings (Mode 1: Standard, Mode 2: Panning Only, and Mode 3: Image Crop Priority). This feature provides excellent image stabilization performance and effectively reduces image blur caused by camera shake. The lens has a minimum object distance (MOD) of 0.6m at 150mm wide angle and 1.8m at 500mm telephoto. Its moisture-resistant construction and fluorine coating ensure usability even in challenging weather conditions.
