Product details
After a complete model change in February 2007, Toyota released a pickup truck with US dimensions, the Toyota Tundra. Due to rising crude oil prices and strong demand for fuel-efficient Japanese vehicles, the Tundra sold very well. The TAMIYA model faithfully replicates the modern appearance of the Tundra and showcases its excellent driving performance. A Double Cab version was chosen for the body style. The kit includes numerous tuning parts to enhance the body like a real pickup truck. The detailed pickup body is mounted on the same chassis as the Ford F-350 High-Lift, combining nostalgia with modern mechanics. The remote-controlled Toyota Tundra High-Lift impresses at first glance with a wealth of details: authentic lettering, sculpted turn signals, headlight guards, a real ladder frame, and even functional leaf springs. For the all-wheel-drive chassis, mud and sludge are no problem: in addition to permanent 4x4 drive, the model even features manually lockable differentials, and if a slope seems too steep, just downshift. The mini-Tundra even has a switchable three-speed transmission. The sturdy body with its dynamic grille and massive ladder frame can withstand a lot, while the monstrous tires tackle rough terrain. The package also includes two small snowboards and a roof rack, as well as two different grilles. With the optional multifunction unit, the Tundra becomes even more realistic. Package includes: kit with 2 snowboards, roof rack, electric motor, and detailed illustrated assembly instructions. 4-channel remote control system, electronic speed controller, batteries, and charger are sold separately.
