Product details
The NSU Prinz was originally produced as a modest yet highly popular compact vehicle from 1958 to 1973. It soon became apparent that the small car was also designed for greater performance potential, which motorsport enthusiasts quickly recognized. This model showcases the Jägermeister-sponsored version of the NSU TT. This racing-oriented variant of the Prinz was equipped over the years with various 4-cylinder inline engines, which, depending on the tuning stage, could easily develop double the power of the original Prinz engine. Weighing only 700 kg, the NSU TT was particularly successful in hill climb and slalom races when equipped with such engines.
The 1:10 scale model from Tamiya utilizes the M-05 chassis with a long wheelbase (239 mm). The lovingly detailed Lexan body is unpainted for customization, and comes with a sticker sheet and masking film. A TBLE-02S electronic speed controller and a Type 540 motor are also included in the kit. The proven M-05 chassis can be upgraded with a wide range of optional tuning parts.
