Tamiya Formula E Gen2 ChLivery TC-01

Formula E has developed into a global racing series in recent years and finally received the status of an official World Championship from the FIA. The series exclusively uses electric vehicles, which made it natural for Tamiya, as the world's leading manufacturer of RC electric models, to offer these as models as well. The Formula E vehicle is a replica of the GEN 2 models in the original sponsor design. The chassis has been redesigned by Tamiya to meet the demands of an ultra-flat design. The TC-01 chassis features all-wheel drive and can be used with both the Formula E bodies and standard touring car bodies (257 mm wheelbase). Power is delivered via a shaft drive and oil-filled differentials. A highlight is the new axle geometry with horizontal oil pressure shock absorbers and push rods, known from real Formula racing.
