Tamiya Fast Attack Vehicle (FAV)

The Fast Attack Vehicle is an R/C buggy that mimics the appearance of a special military vehicle. This newly released version includes improvements to meet modern R/C standards while retaining the basic chassis design of the original model from 1984. It features a realistic body, a roll cage, and a soldier figure, as well as equipment like a machine gun, all of which can be painted with plastic model colors. Additionally, the black, white, and olive green camouflage pattern can be easily applied using the included stickers. Semi-pneumatic, grooved front and rear tires with a block pattern provide excellent grip on off-road surfaces.

The durable, lightweight ABS frame is equipped with a battery compartment compatible with modern power sources such as Tamiya Racing Packs and LF batteries. The independent 4-wheel suspension consists of coil springs and swing arms and features a 186 mm wide track for outstanding off-road stability. The enclosed gearbox protects the differential gears from dirt and debris, allowing for smooth cornering. Furthermore, the drive shafts are equipped with dogbone-type joints and dust covers to enhance durability.
