Tamiya presents one of the most legendary supercars on the TT-02 chassis: the Honda NSX in its 1998 version. The NSX features a mid-engine layout and was introduced in 1990. It gained worldwide attention through numerous racing appearances, such as in the Japanese GT series in 1996. The 1998 version is equipped with a 3.5 L V6 engine and features revised aerodynamics, a lower center of gravity, and a new braking system.

The Tamiya model is based on the proven 1:10 scale TT-02 chassis. This chassis allows for extensive adjustments to wheelbase, ground clearance, track width, and gear ratios, and with countless optional tuning parts, it can be quickly modified into a racer. The 4WD drive system with a central shaft, double wishbones, and shock absorbers on all four wheels ensures a realistic driving experience and excellent traction. The chassis underside is designed to be extra smooth, and the battery compartment accommodates all common battery types.

A visual highlight is the wheel hubs, which feature attached brake disc replicas. The body is pre-painted in PS-1 white and PS-31 smoke color for window tinting.
