Tamiya 1/10 RC Peugeot 306 Maxi (BT-01)

Rally feeling in a mini format! Tamiya presents the Peugeot 306 Maxi on the BT-01 chassis with model number 300058746. The drive setup can be customized on the BT-01. The Peugeot is built with a standard wheelbase and a front motor/front-wheel drive (FF) configuration. Based on the FF hatchback Peugeot 306, the Peugeot 306 Maxi was developed with special components for rallying. A 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine in the front produced 280 hp, and the car featured enlarged fenders, a roof spoiler, and a lighter body. Including victories in the rally races of 1996 and 1997 in France, this car achieved numerous racing successes, such as winning the class championship at the Monte Carlo Rally in 1996 and finishing third in the 5th and 6th races of the global rally circuit in 1997. The Tamiya BT-01 chassis is beginner-friendly and offers six different drive and chassis variations. The wheelbase can be built at 257 mm or 251 mm. Additionally, the chassis is modeled after the drive systems of real cars and can be configured as either a front motor or mid-motor with front or rear-wheel drive. The included body is unpainted. Required accessories: remote control with receiver, steering servo, 7.2V NiMH battery pack, charger, and paint for the body.
