Tamiya Audi 90 quattro Racing (TT-02)

The Audi 90 quattro Racing achieved great success in American races in 1989. With a 2.2-liter inline 5-cylinder turbo engine producing over 700 horsepower and the 4WD quattro system, it had superior traction. It was wider than the road car, featuring a large rear wing, and its lightweight body parts were mostly made of carbon and aluminum. The 58744 TAMIYA model, in 1:10 scale, is based on the proven TT-02 chassis. This chassis allows for multiple adjustments of wheelbase, ground clearance, track width, and gear ratio, and with countless optional tuning parts, it can be quickly modified into a racer. The 4WD drive with a central shaft, double wishbones, and shock absorbers on all four wheels ensures a realistic driving experience and excellent traction. The chassis underside is designed to be extra smooth, and the battery compartment accommodates all common battery types. A visual highlight is the wheel hubs, which feature attached brake disc replicas.
