Talens painting boards in premium quality are made from 100% cotton and stretched over an MDF board. This painting board weighs 280 g/m² and features a fine texture with 16 x 16 threads/cm². These boards are manufactured to be shape-stable and exceptionally durable. All painting boards are universally primed for use with oil, acrylic, and water-mixable oil paints. The high-quality primer consists of a layer of natural glue and two layers of acid-free acrylic gesso. This primer ensures excellent stretch properties and prevents oil penetration, allowing oil and acrylic paints to adhere exceptionally well.
