The buttons on the Aton CL317 have a precise pressure point and are easy to locate in dark environments thanks to bright lighting. The generous display shows all information in large digits and has a high contrast. To ensure that the device can be easily used by older individuals, it is compatible with hearing aids.

For quick dialing of important numbers, the device includes four speed dial buttons on the top of the handset. The phonebook can store up to 150 entries, which can be quickly found.

The ECO-Plus mode reduces the radio power depending on the distance of the handset from the base station, thereby decreasing radiation exposure by up to 80%. When the handset is in standby mode on the base station, the transmission power is reduced to nearly zero. This makes the phone's standby operation almost radiation-free.
