With a uniquely flat key design and particularly slim ergonomics, the Apex M800 is optimized for lightning-fast command sequences. The mechanical SteelSeries QS1 switches of the Apex M800 have a lifespan of 60 million keystrokes and a 1.5 mm actuation distance with a 3.0 mm key travel, resulting in a 25% faster actuation speed compared to standard mechanical keyboards. Additionally, the Apex M800 offers various configuration options such as unlimited profiles, macros, and lighting settings, all controlled and programmed through the SteelSeries Engine software. Each key can be individually set to one of 16.8 million colors with eight brightness levels in various lighting modes like Breathe, Wave, Trigger, or custom designs. The keyboard also features two USB ports for connecting additional devices like a headset or mouse.
