USB 3.0/SATA III docking station for hard drives from StarTech. The StarTech USB 3.0 docking station with UASP simplifies the connection and exchange of 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA III hard drives and solid-state drives via an existing USB port. It supports SATA hard drives (HDD) with 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch form factors, as well as solid-state drives (SSD) with UASP support (Attached SCSI Protocol Specification Version 1.0). Compatible with USB 3.0/2.0/1.1 (5 Gbit/s/480 Mbit/s/1.5 Mbit/s) and SATA drives Version I/II/III (1.5/3.0/6.0 Gbit/s). Plug-and-play and hot-swap compatibility. This HDD/SSD docking station supports particularly large SATA I/II/III drives (tested up to 4 TB) and is compatible with nearly all SATA drives. The SDOCKU33EF docking station also features a built-in fan that operates the drives at optimal performance and longevity at the best possible temperature.
