Extend a USB 2.0 connection up to 150 meters with this USB Extender Kit. Connect the transmitter to the receiver using an existing Ethernet cable with Cat5e or better (e.g., Cat 6, 6a, etc.). No software or configuration is required. Conveniently control USB devices in warehouses, classrooms, conference rooms, and other application environments with long distances.

Overcome distance limitations.

This USB Extender Kit successfully overcomes the limitations of traditional USB cables and establishes USB connections with extended range. Use this kit for a variety of applications such as remote monitoring and control with a webcam (up to 1080p resolution), remote machine operation, remote printing, connecting barcode scanners in retail, and many other applications. Additionally, the remote unit is powered through the included power adapter when applications require power.

Both the local and remote units feature a metal housing that provides extra protection and durability in harsher environments. With dimensions of just 32.2 x 25.4 x 67.3 mm, both devices are very compact and can be installed in tight spaces.

User-friendly.

The USB over Ethernet cable extender kit is compatible with all operating systems and requires no additional software to operate. Set up the devices by connecting them via a point-to-point connection using your existing Ethernet cables (Cat5e or better). This kit is not compatible with network switches and routers. The extender is compatible with USB 2.0, USB 1.1, and USB 1.0 devices.
