Add a parallel port and two serial RS-232 ports to your PC via a PCI Express expansion slot.

The PCI Express Serial/Parallel Card with Breakout Cable PEX2S1P553B combines the functionality of parallel and serial cards by adding 2 serial RS232 ports and 1 parallel port through a single PCI Express (PCIe) slot.

The card is suitable for almost any computer thanks to its low profile/half-height design and the included standard bracket. The included breakout cable converts a single port on the card into 3 ports, avoiding tight connections that often occur with fixed/static ports. It is compatible with a variety of operating systems, including DOS, Windows 7/Server 2008 R2/Vista/XP/Server 2003/2000/98SE (32/64 Bit), Linux, and Mac OS X.

The card features a native single-chip design for optimal speed and reliability, while reducing CPU overhead by up to 48% compared to traditional (bridge chip) cards.

This product is a replacement for our PEX2S1P552B card.
