It features an Open SFP slot, allowing you to choose the MSA-compliant Gigabit SFP that best fits your fiber connection mode (Single-/Multi-Mode) and distance requirements.

The fiber-to-Ethernet converter has a durable all-steel housing and offers easy plug-and-play installation with support for full-duplex operation and jumbo frame support for efficient network performance. For added versatility, this Gigabit media converter supports standalone operation or installation in a 2U rack-mount chassis with 20 slots. For applications requiring multiple chassis-mounted media converters, this media converter can be purchased as a card module.
