The StarTech 10/100 Mbit/s multimode fiber media converter ST allows you to extend a Fast Ethernet network over multimode fiber up to 2 kilometers. It is a cost-effective solution for connecting a 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet network with remote network segments via a 100Base-FX fiber backbone. Supports standalone operation or installation in the ETCHS2U rack-mount chassis. Advanced features include link loss forwarding, status remote monitoring, and two frame sizes. Supports a maximum fiber cable length of 2 km and full or half-duplex operation. All-steel chassis, easy to use and install.
