Quickly and easily add four additional COM ports to your laptop or desktop PC. This serial USB to RS232/422/485 adapter allows you to connect your serial devices through an external USB port.

The versatile serial adapter converts a single USB port into four serial RS232/RS422/RS485 ports, enabling you to connect, monitor, and control a variety of serial devices, such as sensors, barcode scanners, and LED signage. The adapter supports four operating modes, including RS232, RS422, RS485 4-wire, and 2-wire.

The serial adapter is well-suited to meet the exceptionally high demands in harsh and mission-critical environments, thanks to its robust IP30-rated metal hub housing. It offers 15 kV ESD protection, reducing downtime in industrial settings where connections are more susceptible to noise interference and unexpected voltage spikes.

The serial adapter provides flexible mounting options with integrated wall-mount brackets and a DIN rail mounting kit. Additionally, the adapter features a host connection with screw lock and a USB-B connector with screw lock on the included USB cable to prevent accidental disconnections.

Fast data transfer.

The serial adapter is equipped with high-speed UARTs that deliver fast data transfer rates of up to 921 Kbps in RS232/422/485 operating mode.
