Simple hot-swap for any 3.5-inch SATA hard drive from any computer with a 5.25-inch bay.
With this 3.5-inch SATA hard drive hot-swap bay, you can install a 3.5-inch SATA drive into an available or unused 5.25-inch drive bay. To remove the drive, simply open the front panel cover. To insert a drive, it is slid in (with the connectors facing forward) until the cover closes.
The hot-swap bay, designed without a tray, is the ideal solution for quick insertion and removal of drives during system setup, integration into a rack-mount system, or in an industrial environment.
To optimize performance and utilize the full speed potential of SATA III drives, this HDD backplane supports SATA III with transfer speeds of up to 6 Gbit/s when combined with a compatible controller.
It is also the perfect addition for creating system images or any tasks that require quick access to large amounts of data during operation. The hot-swap bay provides everything you need to complete important projects faster while maintaining the reliability of your data storage.
The hot-swap frame/backplane supports SATA HDD speeds of up to 6.0 Gbit/s, is fully compatible with RAID installations, and offers maximum performance and flexibility for demanding storage applications.
The hot-swap frame is designed to operate durably and reliably, ensuring at least 50,000 insertion cycles.
