The flux system Kristall 600 has been specifically developed for soldering tasks in the field of manual soldering. Due to its properties, this solder wire is also suitable for use in soldering robots. Although mildly activated, this solder wire ensures quick and reliable wetting on most surfaces used in modern electronics manufacturing. All minimally oxidized, well-solderable metal surfaces such as copper, brass, or even tin-plated surfaces are suitable for creating secure solder joints. The Kristall 600 solder wire leaves minimal, transparent, and highly electrically safe residues on the solder joint. The Kristall 600 wire flux is a halide- and rosin-free flux and is based on a synthetic resin matrix. Therefore, this wire can be classified as REL0 according to J-STD-004B. Due to its high thermal stability, the Kristall 600 flux is very well suited for use with all lead-free alloys. The resin system in this flux has been designed to produce relatively low amounts of transparent residues with the highest electrical safety. To take full advantage of the Stannol product range, we offer Kristall 600 in the alloys Flowtin and SN100C, which are exclusively produced with FAIRTIN. For FAIRTIN alloys, only tin from manufacturers who pay special attention to environmental protection during ore extraction and processing, comply with national and international laws, and fulfill their social responsibility is used. By using micro-alloying components in Flowtin and SN100C, the soldering tips are preserved. This significantly extends their lifespan, thereby reducing tool costs.
