Product details
The new ST-80 lithium-ion battery soldering iron uses the advantages of modern battery technology and makes this soldering iron an enduring companion wherever mobile soldering without a power supply is required. The soldering tool is designed for soldering in electronics, electrical engineering or precision mechanics. Ideal for service technicians, but also for many applications, e.g. in the automotive sector, model making or DIY. The ST-80 impresses with its quick start-up and short heat-up time. In particular, the long working time clearly distinguishes it from previously available battery soldering devices. The ST-80 can be quickly recharged using the mains charger provided, and the lithium-ion technology is also very forgiving when the charge is not quite complete and the time is particularly short. An LED on the charger indicates the charging status of the ST-80. The ST-80 is equipped with a plug-in soldering tip. This means that the tip can be quickly exchanged for a new soldering tip or one with a different tip shape if necessary. The soldering unit only heats as long as the On / Off switch is pressed. This increases safety because the unit switches off automatically. On the other hand, unnecessary heating is avoided, which extends the working time and increases the service life of the soldering tip. The very short heat-up time nevertheless enables rapid working. 249430.
