Meet Raymond, who is on a transport mission when his spaceship is attacked by the Pangalactic Federation and crashes on an underdeveloped planet. He meets Princess Laeticia, the crown princess of the kingdom of Aucerius, who is trying to protect her homeland from an attacking empire. Together they embark on an adventure that will shake the entire universe.

Even though this is the 6th installment of the main Star Ocean series, it is a completely standalone story, making it a perfect introduction for newcomers.

For existing fans, the game brings back the popular Dual Protagonist System from Star Ocean: The Second Story, allowing you to experience the game from two different perspectives. With the Private Action System, you can form relationships of varying depth with other characters and experience new storylines and additional endings.
The combat system is diverse and action-packed. There are no random battles and exploration of the world seamlessly transitions into battles. The action in this game is more dynamic and explosive than anything experienced in the series so far.
