Balan Wonderworld is a wondrous, action-packed platform game based around motifs from the Balan Theater. Led by the mysterious maestro Balan, the stars of the show, Emma and Leo, use the special abilities of a variety of high-profile costumes in their adventures in the whimsical and fantastic land of Wonderworld. Here, memories and views of the real world mix with the things that people hold dear.

Twelve different stories await the stars in this Wonderworld, and each has its own unique characteristics. The stars explore every corner of the maze-like levels full of tricks and traps to get to the heart of each story.

Wonderworld exists in the hearts and imaginations of people. This story is set in the whimsical land of Wonderworld, where people's happy memories are mixed with their sorrows and negative experiences. Leo and Emma are led to this land by the clown Balan in search of what is truly important to them. Before they can return to the real world, they must restore the lost balance in their hearts.

More than 80 different costumes provide all the action you can imagine. The stars of the show draw on powers from the inhabitants of Wonderworld by donning their colorful costumes. In total, there are more than 80 different ones. Beat your enemies, walk through the air, freeze time, or manipulate all sorts of objects. There are endless possibilities when you put on a costume.

Two legendary creators come together. Enjoy the pinnacle of Square Enix storytelling in an action-packed world of wonder, a creation of the legendary Naka Yuji. For the first time in 20 years, Naka Yuji and Oshima Naoto are collaborating on the Balan Company team, which brings together action game development and in-house and outside video and music production professionals.
