What if you didn't throw away pencil stubs, but planted them and had the pleasure of seeing something tasty and beautiful grow out of them? we asked ourselves exactly this question and Sprout was invented. we are delighted to present the first growing pencil!

Material

How it works
It's not easy to get seeds to germinate and grow a big, beautiful plant. It takes active care and attention to grow fresh herbs from the pencil, and the Sprout pencil contains organic seeds. Did you know that the Sprout pencil contains no lead? Planting or eating the herbs that grow from the pencil is therefore completely risk-free.

PLANTING
Sprout is a high-quality pencil made of cedar wood. The end of the pencil contains a water-activated seed capsule. If this is exposed to moisture, the seed decomposes and starts to germinate.

GROWTH
Water your sprout regularly and provide plenty of sunlight, the pencil needs direct sunlight to germinate and grow, allow 2-3 weeks for the pencil to germinate and 4-5 weeks before you can use your fresh herbs for cooking.

About Sprout
The pen is made from sustainably sourced cedar wood. The pencil contains no lead, but graphite and clay. After writing and planting, a small pencil stub remains. It is non-toxic, but still there.
