Krank vor Verantwortung?

The question of responsibility is often raised today: Who is responsible for the latest political conflict? Who is to blame for the company's insolvency? Who is at fault for the defeat against the bottom team? Responsibility also plays a significant role in everyday life: people take it on when they arrive at work on time, separate their waste correctly, or try not to consume too much energy. Some individuals tend to place responsibility on their own shoulders repeatedly. Such excessive responsibility is now associated with a range of mental illnesses, including depression, generalized anxiety disorder, social phobia, or obsessive-compulsive disorder. In particular, a pronounced tendency to take on responsibility can quickly lead to overwhelm and burnout.
