The housing of the TK series is made of polystyrene or polycarbonate and has an IP66 rating. It is available in five different versions with sealed options that offer gray or transparent covers. The housing is impact-resistant and flame-retardant, made from polystyrene or fiberglass-reinforced polycarbonate. It features a polystyrene base with a transparent polycarbonate cover or a gray polystyrene cover.

The housing covers are equipped with an automatically formed, aging-resistant polyurethane seal that cannot fall out or be lost. It can be wall-mounted or secured through cutouts under the cover screws or by screws in the housing base. Sealing plugs for screw mounting are included. The smooth housing walls can be easily drilled, milled, cut, or threaded to create cable entries. It is resistant to most acids and alkalis and has a temperature range of -25 °C to +40 °C for polystyrene and -35 °C to +75 °C for polycarbonate. This housing is ideal for electrical or electronic installations, and various insulating mounting plates can be ordered separately.
