The AK series has a high protection rating of IP65, is factory-sealable, and features metric pre-embossings. No additional drilling or milling is required - simply punch out the pre-embossings with a screwdriver and install the included IP 54/66 mounting sockets - done. The enclosures are available in two different materials. Polystyrene (AKL...) is ideal for indoor use. For protected outdoor areas, UV- and weather-resistant polycarbonate (AKi...) should be used. The enclosures are scratch-resistant and offer high flexibility, for example, through the accessory program and the many mounting options inside the box, the adapted standard rails, and the mounting plates. The covers are available in gray or transparent. The wall mounting options in the bottom of the box and alternatively below the cover screws complete the variety of application possibilities.
