Description AKL/AKi Plastic Enclosure The AK series has a high protection rating of IP65, is factory-sealable, and can be supplied with metric pre-embossing. No subsequent drilling or milling is required - simply knock out the pre-embossed areas with a screwdriver and install the included IP 54/66 mounting fittings - done. The enclosures are available in two different materials. Polystyrene (AKL...) is ideally suited for indoor use. For protected outdoor applications, UV- and weather-resistant polycarbonate (AKi...) should be used. The enclosures are scratch-resistant and feature high flexibility, such as through the accessory program and the numerous mounting options inside the box, the customized standard rails, and the mounting plates. The covers are available in gray or transparent. The wall mounting options on the bottom of the box and alternatively below the cover screws complete the variety of application possibilities.
