Product details
The EasyDriver is compatible with anything that can send a digital 0-5V (or 3.3V when SJ2 is closed) pulse. EasyDriver requires a supply voltage of 7V to 30V to drive the motor. The EasyDriver has an onboard voltage regulator for the digital interface, which can operate at 5V or 3.3V. Connect a 4-wire stepper motor and a microcontroller, and you'll have precision motor control!
EasyDriver controls bipolar motors and motors wired as bipolar, such as 4-, 6-, or 8-wire stepper motors. In this version (v4.4), all labeling errors on the PCB have been corrected (min/max adjustment).
This is the latest version of the EasyDriver V4, co-designed with Brian Schmalz. It offers much more flexibility and control over your stepper motor compared to older versions. The Microstep Select Pins (MS1 and MS2) of the A3967 are brought out to allow adjustments to the microstep resolution. The Sleep and Enable pins are also brought out for even more control options.
Note: Do not connect or disconnect a motor while the EasyDriver is powered. This could permanently damage the A3967 IC.
