When the hot shoe is connected to multiple interfaces of a compatible camera with a built-in digital audio interface, the audio signal is transferred directly to the camera in digital form, so there is no loss of sound. A simple switch also allows compatibility with a wide range of cameras via an analogue interface, providing versatile connection options. Two XLR/TRS combination jacks and a 3.5 mm stereo mini-microphone jack are available as inputs. The XLR/TRS combo jacks can be set as line input, microphone input or as microphone input with 48 Volt phantom power.
