Sony PDT-FP1 portable data transmitter

Optimized antenna design for high-speed data transmission. The antenna design has been improved to provide ideal reception quality and high-speed, low-latency communication over a variety of bands such as LTE, as well as 5G Sub6 and mmWave. Thanks to the improved antenna design and the wide range of compatible communication environments, including local and private 5G networks, the PDT-FP1 offers fast and efficient data transmission worldwide. Data transmission via dual SIM and automatic switching to a stronger network are also supported.

More reliable heat dissipation system. The PDT-FP1 incorporates a fan and tube design that enables heat dissipation and quiet operation to perform reliably even in harsh environments. Even at high temperatures such as 40°C, it will not overheat, allowing data to be transferred without interruption during recording.

The PDT-FP1 is equipped with two USB-C ports for USB PD support. One is for data communication and charging, while the other is for charging only. This allows the PDT-FP1 to charge even during data transfer, so you don't have to worry about the battery level.

Versatile input interfaces. The PDT-FP1 is equipped with versatile interfaces and offers fast and stable data communication. In addition to the USB-C port, there is also a wired LAN port for data transfer, which can be used to connect a compatible camera. Video data can be transmitted via the HDMI connection (type A).

Fast file transfer for photographers. By connecting compatible Sony cameras via USB/Ethernet, you can transfer files to FTP servers or the Creators' Cloud. Once setup is complete, files are transferred automatically with the "Camera Wired Connection" setting, so a one-time configuration is all that is required.
