Sony Pcm-D100

The Sony PCM-D100 audio recorder delivers the highest sound quality for professional applications such as live concerts, theater performances, and news productions. The recorder supports the latest high-resolution codecs and formats, including 192 kHz/24 Bit PCM and DSD.

Being DSD compatible, it allows the sound source to be recorded with digital signals in a format that closely resembles analog waveforms. With recording and playback in linear PCM format at 192 kHz/24 Bit, the device can reproduce fine musical components in the ultra-high range, ensuring excellent sound quality across the entire spectrum. With a wide frequency range for playback, it effortlessly exceeds the audible range of 20 Hz to 25 kHz.

The highly sensitive directional microphone employs a new unidirectional 15 mm unit. The microphone's sound capture range can be adjusted for different applications, from small performances to concert halls with a large number of artists. The highly sensitive wideband recording captures frequency characteristics up to 40 kHz, maximizing the benefits of DSD recording.

The PCM-D100 recorder features a built-in 32 GB flash memory. The shared slot for SD cards/Memory Sticks allows for further capacity expansion. The lightweight aluminum metal housing is designed for demanding professional applications. With four AA batteries, it achieves a long operating time of up to approximately 11 hours in DSD (2.8 MHz/1 Bit).
