The first super-telezoom lens in Sony's G Master Premium series covers 100 to 400mm. Its superb resolution and fast autofocus let you capture action-packed subjects. In addition to top-notch image quality, this premium lens boasts professional-level portability, reliability and operability.

The floating focus system with a double linear motor and DDSSM (Direct Drive SSM) drive enables fast response time, high accuracy and long-lasting tracking. Precise G Master optics ensure sustained high resolution from the center of the frame to the edge at any focus distance and throughout the zoom range of the lens.

Compact, lightweight and portable: Innovative modular external structures and magnesium machined components reduce the weight and size of the lens for improved portability and mobility.

Excellent shooting flexibility: Thanks to the so-called floating focus mechanism, the minimum focusing distance is just 0.98 m, allowing you to permanently capture and photograph objects at any distance with just one lens.
