The compact electret condenser microphone ECM-MS2 is designed for use with handheld camcorders. With a length of just 137 mm, the microphone is unlikely to appear in the frame, making transport easier as well. The ECM-MS2 offers both stereo and mono operation, enhancing the versatility of the microphone. For example, one channel can be used to capture ambient sounds while the second channel can be used for a second microphone to record speech. This makes the microphone ideal for applications such as reporting or on-location recordings for documentaries.
