The compact electret condenser microphone ECM-MS2 is designed for use with handheld camcorders. With a length of only 137 mm, the microphone is unlikely to accidentally appear in the frame, and transport is also easier. The ECM-MS2 offers both stereo and mono operation, enhancing the versatility of the microphone. For example, one channel can be used to capture ambient sounds while the second channel can be used for a second microphone to record speech. This makes the microphone ideal for applications such as reporting or on-site recordings for documentaries.
