The cards with 1,920 GB (CEA-G1920T) and 960 GB (CEA-G960T) support the CFexpress 4 standard for high-speed transfers with VPG (Video Performance Guarantee) 400 certification for stable recordings. With five times the drop resistance and ten times the rigidity of the CFexpress Type A standard, these cards can withstand harsh conditions.

With a storage capacity of up to 1,920 GB (CEA-G1920T), you can record without worrying about having enough storage space. This is ideal for long 4K video recordings or high-speed series images in action scenes.

The cards both support the CFexpress 4 standard and offer read speeds of up to 1,800 MB/s and write speeds of up to 1,700 MB/s. The lower capacity cards also offer impressive read speeds of up to 800 MB/s and write speeds of up to 700 MB/s. This makes them ideal for the most demanding workflows and helps to optimise and increase productivity in the field and at the desk.

The cards also support the VPG400 standard, which ensures stable video recording with a sustained write speed of at least 400 MB/s. This function prevents image dropouts even when recording at high bit rates, allowing you to create continuous recordings with greater reliability.

The optional MRW-G3 card reader has been optimised for Sony CFexpress type A memory cards. This allows data to be transferred via a USB interface at 40 Gbit/s. With support for Windows and macOS, iOS, iPadOS and Android OS for smartphones and tablets, you can import data to computers and mobile devices.

Thanks to Sony's unique Tough card design, the CFexpress Type A cards offer 10 times the rigidity of the CFexpress Type A standard and additional stability tested at 150 Newtons. The resin casing offers high reliability as it is five times more resistant than the CFexpress Type A standard and can withstand drops from a height of up to 7.5 metres.
